I have first been to a real club 10 years ago and since that day music and parties have been the most defining aspects of my life. Several long-year-residencies at some of the best clubs and clubnights of germany's Ruhr area like harpune club Düsseldorf or Heimatmelodie @ Hotel Shanghai in Essen helped me to develop my dj skills. Other residencies include my own "OFF" clubnight in cologne. Besides these residencies i'm looking forward to a growing number of bookings all over of germany, europe and beyond with gigs in georgia, italy, spain, uk and belgium in 2007. Standing behind the decks and making the people on the floor have a good time is what i love most to do in life. I think a dj should try to create the best possible experience for the people on the floor while always staying true to his own style. I play a mixture of modern and oldschool house, minimal and deep techno, fine-tuned for the different clubs and crowds of each night and spiced up with own productions, loops, edits and weird samples collected from all thinkable sources. Since some time i am also active as a producer; my debut EP "Notaufnahme" with Tigerskin on Liebe*Detail was one of the biggest summer tunes of 2006 and got played by people like Magda, Troy Pierce, Luciano, Roman Flügel, Steve Bug and countless more. EP's on Ellen Allien's label Memo Records and Leftroom followed, including the hugely popular track “Bodenturnen” which got remixed by Skoozbot and turned into one of the summer hits of 2007. The signing to Sender Records, one of the oldest and most renowned techno/house labels of Berlin with the "Ambulanz EP" released in april 2007 gave my name another boost, resulting in an amazing increase of international bookings. Releases on Very Very Wrong Indeed and my own label Heimatmelodie followed in october and november 2007, my second Sender EP will hit the streets in december 2007. Besides releasing on other labels i also run the Heimatmelodie label, named after the same-called clubnight. All EPs sold out in a couple of days, got great reviews in the relevant print and online media and made it into the charts and playlists of people like Magda, Troy Pierce, Claude Von Stroke, Karotte and many more. The latest two Heimatmelodie Eps by Tom Dazing and myself got played by “techno don” Richie Hawtin. Early 2008 will see the launch of my second label “OFF” with releases of incredibly talented young artists and remixes of such respected producers as Mark Broom and Dave Ellesmere, as well as monthly “OFF” clubnights in my new hometown Berlin; and of course continued extended touring around germany and beyond as a dj.
