Der 1981 in Rostock geborene Gunnar Stiller begann seine musikalische Laufbahn 1999 an heimischen Plattenspielern. Durch seine Ausbildung Veranstaltungskaufmann ber der Berliner Eventagentur No Ufos im Jahre 2002, erhielt er mit den hauseigenen Clubs Polar.tv und Sternradio die optimale Spielwiese, seinen damals noch von Deephouse, Breaks und Electro dominierten Style erstmals der Öffentlichkeit vorzustellen und auszufeilen.
Inspiriert durch die Residents Steve Bug, DJ Clé, Woody oder auch Martin Landsky, entwickelte sich daraus schnell ein Sound, der jede Tanzfläche auszufüllen verstand. So kann man seinen musikalischen Stil heute als sehr kickenden, minimal groovenden Technohouse beschreiben. 2004 gründete er mit den Freunden Fabiano, DJ Krick und Alex Schuster das Künstlerkollektiv Edelmut, deren ausdauernde Sessions in der Bar25 oder dem Watergate den neuen Berliner DJ Nachwuchs markierten.
Mittlerweile hat Gunnar in allen wichtigen Berliner Clubs seine Spuren hinterlassen und wird inzwischen bis nach Südafrika, Österreich, Niederlande, Tschechien, Schweiz oder auch Lettland gebucht und ist seit 2005 während der Sommermonate Resident DJ in der mittlerweile international ruhmreichen Bar25. So spielte er schon zusammen mit Künstlern wie Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Carl Craig, Luciano und vielen weiteren.
Im Radio konnte man ihn bisher bei Anja Schneider´s Dance under the blue moon auf Radio Fritz Hören. Seit 2006 ist er auch für die Loveparade GmbH tätig und ist Teil des Musikteams, welches für die gesamte musikalische und programmtechnische Organisation und Umsetzung der Loveparade verantwortlich ist. Seit dem Sommer 2007 ist er zudem Teil des Artist Rosters bei Mind the Crap. Gunnar´s erstes Release erschien im Mai 2007 auf Gastspiel Records. Die nächsten stehen in der Pipeline.

Gunnar Stiller who was born 1981 in Rostock began his musical carreer in 1999 on his domestic turntables.
Due to his education as a eventmanager at the Berlin event agency “No Ufos” in the year 2002, he had a perfekt playground presenting and advancing his at that time by Deephouse, Breaks and Electro dominated style for the first time.
Inspirated by the residents Steve Bug, DJ Clé, Woody as well as Martin Landsky, he quickly developed a sound which filled every dancefloor and got intended by other organizers. 2004 he based the artist alliance „Edelmut“ with his friends Fabiano, DJ Krick and Alex Schuster which got notorious for its deathless sessions in clubs such as Bar25 or Watergate.
Stylistically his sets are swaying well diversified between techno and house with a unmistakable kicking and pushing but also deep character. They are built by a fascinating dramaturgy and take more than 10 hours. It´s a trip through an amazing sound pattern.
In the meantime Gunnar has left his marks in every crucial club of Berlin, such as Watergate, Tresor, Sternradio, Arena Club, Bar25, Club Maria and plays in different clubs allover germany. He is well known as part from the next and up coming DJ Generation from Berlin. Also international, he got booked to South Africa, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Latvia. In the moment, Gunnar plays his monthly Residency at the world famous Bar25 in the heart of Berlin and is part of the Berlin based Booking Agency Mind the Crap. He played alongside with DJs like Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Sven Väth, Luciano and many others.
Also on radio he was able to admire his mixing skills while he played at Anja Schneider´s famous show “Dance under the Blue Moon” on Radio Fritz.
Since 2006 he is operating for the Loveparade Corporation as a part of the music team, which responsibilities are the whole music and program organisation and performance of the Loveparade.
Last year came his first release "Pluracell EP" on Gastspiel Records. Currently Gunnar is working on his next release which is supposed to come out in the course of the year.
